The making of BalanceOil+
Pure, potent, naturally protected & scientifically proven to offer long-term health benefits.

The fish oil in our proprietary, synergistic BalanceOil+ formula is always strategically and sustainably sourced using FoS-certified fishing practices. We use whole, unprocessed oily fish from the waters of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, selecting the best location based on season availability and environmental health to ensure optimal freshness and quality.
To preserve the Omega-3 fatty acids in their unaltered triglyceride form, the oil is extracted purely and naturally from the tissue of wild-caught sardines, anchovies and mackerel known for having the highest and purest concentration of potent Omega-3.
The refining and purification process
The crude fish oil is refined in Iceland by LYSI, a global leader in fish oil manufacturing. LYSI’s state-of-the-art, GMP-certified refinery facility in Reykjavik is uniquely equipped to perform a purification process that is meticulously designed to transform raw materials into clean, refined high-quality fish oil that meets stringent quality and safety standards and has a fatty acid profile according to our exact specifications to efficiently normalize the Omega-6:3 fatty acid balance in the body within 120 days.
1. Neutralization
Free fatty acids are removed from the crude fish oil to stabilize the oil, extending its shelf life and preventing rancidity.
2. Bleaching
The neutralized oil is bleached to remove pigments, oxidation products and impurities. The bleaching earth is then filtered out, leaving no harmful residues.
3. Wintering
The oil is cooled to remove waxes and high-melting triglycerides and improve the cold stability of the oil.
4. Deodorization
Volatile impurities are removed to enhance the taste and odor of the oil and ensure a pure and pleasant oil, free from unwanted odors.
5. Short path distillation
The oil is distilled to remove contaminants, preserve beneficial nutrients and deliver a higher quality, more stable final oil product.
6. Standardization
Adjusting and balancing the final product's composition by adding vitamin D, tocopherol-rich extracts, flavors, and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil to ensure the refined oil meets specific quality standards.
