Ain’t no mountain high enough, for professional triathlon & adventure racer, Clas Björling
For some athletes, choosing one interest to pursue isn’t easy. Take Clas Björling and his love for cycling, swimming and running. A 30-kilometer cross country running race here… a 90-kilometer ski race there… swimming in open water for three kilometers and cycling for 300. That’s what ignites Clas, a professional triathlon and adventure racer.
Clas doesn’t just compete with other athletes, but Mother Nature herself. From Sweden to New Zealand, Hawaii to Brazil, Clas moved mountains to become one of Sweden’s world champions.
And now, he’s coaching others to defy the odds, too.
What’s your name, age and sporting profession?
I’m Clas Björling, a retired triathlete. I’m 42.
What awards and recognition have you received?
As a triathlete, I won the junior age group Ironman World Championship. I placed second in Ironman New Zealand and Ironman UK. In Sweden, I had the Ironman distance record (8.15 hours) for seven years and a five-time champion duathlon title. In adventure racing, my team holds Swedish and European Championships and a #1 World title.
How did you first hear about Zinzino?
A friend of mine told me about the Zinzino products and how they had improved his overall health.
What was your understanding of the Omega-6:3 ratio as a professional athlete?
I had no idea about it, but after researching it, understood the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between Omega-3 and Omega-6 to help support our overall health and wellness.
What was your initial ratio?
My first reading was 6.9:1. It did surprise me because I’d been taking a different Omega-3 supplement for years.
What Zinzino products do you currently use?
A few, actually! I use BalanceOil+, ZinoBiotic, Xtend+, Protect+, and LeanShake.
Tell us about your experience with Zinzino.
After a few months taking BalanceOil+, I felt like my brain was working better, I believe because the DHA in the product contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function1. I also noticed that my immune system improved to the normal level2, which is important for an athlete. The best thing is that there is always energy left for my family and work.
Did Zinzino help you as an athlete?
Absolutely! As an athlete, I need to put my focus on performance and recovery. Zinzino helps me to achieve both.
What about the mental benefits?
Mentally, I feel great. This makes training even more enjoyable.
Why should people consider BalanceOil (or any other Zinzino product)?
BalanceOil is great because it supports various functions in our body and brain. ZinoBiotic aids gut health, which controls our immune system. Also, the intestines send signals to the brain, so taking care of this area of the body is crucial.
Xtend+ contains many micronutrients that are hard to source through food. Protect+ is great for my immune system since the combination of beta glucans and vitamin D helps to maintain a normal immune system2. And LeanShake is the perfect healthy in between meals snack.
Is Zinzino just for athletes?
No, not at all. It’s definitely for anyone who wants to improve their health and energy levels. If you want to live well for your family and friends, and have a great life, you’ll love Zinzino.
Do you take other supplements or health products?
Nothing additional besides sports drinks. When I’m training and in post-session recovery, I have a Zinzino shake. Zinzino also has me covered for everything else.
Explain your experience with Zinzino in one word.
Whether he’s training for triathlons or racing for fun, Zinzino helps keep Clas in the game.
