Anprisningen må kun anvendes for fødevarer, der som minimum er en kilde til ALA iht. anprisingen KILDE TIL OMEGA 3-FEDTSYRER som angivet i bilaget til forordning (EF) nr. 1924/2006. Der skal gives oplysninger til forbrugeren om, at den gavnlige effekt opnås med et dagligt indtag på 2 g ALA.

6. Betaglucaner bidrager til opretholdelsen af normale niveauer for kolesterol i blodet

Betaglucaner bidrager til opretholdelsen af normale niveauer for kolesterol i blodet. Påstanden kan kun bruges for fødevarer, der mindst indeholder 1 g betaglucaner fra havre, havreklid, byg, bygklid eller fra blandinger af disse kilder pr. kvantificeret dosis. For at understøtte påstanden skal der gives oplysninger til forbrugeren om, at den gavnlige effekt er opnået med et dagligt indtag på 3 g betaglucaner fra havre, havreklid, byg, bygklid eller fra blandinger af disse betaglucaner.

7. Erstatning af to daglige energibegrænsede måltider

Erstatning af to daglige energibegrænsede måltider med måltidserstatninger bidrager til vægttab. For at overholde denne anprisning skal fødevaren overholde de specifikationer, som findes i direktiv 96/8/EF om levnedsmidler under artikel 1(2)(b) i nævnte direktiv. For at opnå den anpriste virkning, skal to daglige måltider erstattes med måltidserstatninger.
